Rumbles
Once per epoch, an active habitat that is crowded can throw a rumble. Two creatures mix it up. One comes home with extra snacks.
No player tap. No travel. No levels in the math. Personality leans the odds. The snack pile is its own roll.
When it happens
Once per epoch, in an active habitat that is crowded. Two creatures from that habitat are picked at random. Creatures do not leave their grass to rumble somewhere else.
How a rumble is rolled
A rumble is a weighted roll, not a ranking.
Each fighter gets a weight from their personality. Fierce leans hardest; shy leans least. The roll still has room for an underdog. A shy creature can beat a fierce one. Everybody in the rumble stands a chance.
Same personality is an even roll, plus a coin flip if it ties.
Level does not move the needle. A hatchling and a fledgling in the same habitat have the same shot, personality aside.
| Personality | Rumble weight |
|---|---|
| Fierce | Highest |
| Grumpy | High |
| Proud | High |
| Loyal | High |
| Bouncy | Mid |
| Greedy | Mid |
| Clever | Mid |
| Sly | Mid |
| Serene | Low |
| Shy | Lowest |

What the winner gets
A randomized number of bonus snacks. About two to five transactions worth. Personality does not change the size of the winnings.
No XP. No level. No habitat score bump from the rumble itself.
What the winner sees
On their next page load, while logged in, a victory message pops up. It says their creature got in a rumble and won, and brought extra snacks home. Any page counts. Den, habitat, wherever they land next.
